Wellbeing Washing: Why just ticking the corporate wellbeing box is not enough
It used to be enough to scrape by with the bare minimum when it came to extra benefits offered to employees but these days, with a much greater understanding of the importance of good mental health, to secure and retain the best candidates the benefits package must be as appealing as the job itself. Top of the list of those all-important benefits is therapy sessions. Be it face-to-face or online, employees want to know that their mental health is supported and not just appearing to be supported but actually being supported.
Speaker Bio:
Claire qualified as a therapist in 2014, after deciding on a career change from IT project management. After finishing her diploma, she went on to work with private clients and whilst doing this she recognised that there was a real need for a more user-friendly client/therapist matching service. One that provides individuals looking for therapy with a tailored match, which takes into account important elements when trying to find a therapist and offering support at an anxious time. Claire has extensive knowledge of media, information technology, software programmes, training and development and more recently an in-depth knowledge of all types of mental health therapy. This has proved to be a complimentary combination of skills to bring this project to life.
